Modern Means of Communication

Today we are acknowledging our appreciation for modern means of communication.  It wasn’t too long ago that the only way we could communicate from long distances was through letters which sometimes took months to arrive by the Pony Express or by ship. Today, not only can we communicate with people on the other side of the world from the palm of our hand in an instant, we can also converse as if they were in the same room with us through Skype, ZOOM, Facetime etc.

How blessed we are to live in such a time where communication technology is at such an advanced stage, especially during this time of travel restrictions and social distancing. Staying connected to each other is vital to our well-being and we appreciate all the ways modern technology helps us not only hear, but see each other, when we can’t in person.
