Lung Tonic Formula is scientifically designed, utilizing traditional herbal medicine to act as an expectorant and to help relieve coughs and upper respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis.
Our Lung Tonic formula has also been used by our customers to rebuild their lungs and improve breathing after experiencing chronic or acute trauma to the lungs such as smoking, bronchitis or asthma.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the lungs are said to be the seat of wisdom. Strong and vital lung health provides healthy functional breathing and fills the body with energy (qi). This keeps the lung energy meridians flowing which, when combined with the proper use of breath, helps us let go of old emotional attachments and stuck behavior patterns. When we have learned the art of letting go and extracting the wisdom within each life experience (which releases stuck patterns), we grow and evolve and become wise. Thus the lungs are said to be the seat of wisdom.
Chinese medicine also tells us that lung function controls the skin. If the lungs are working well and providing an abundance of qi, the skin is able to adapt to changing weather and environments. Good lung function will also relieve many skin disorders. The lungs are also responsible for producing wei qi (our defensive energy that circulates the surface of the body). The wei qi supplies the skin with the energy needed to defend the body against pathogenic and climatic forces that would otherwise enter the body and cause damage.
Our Lungs formula contains ingredients that act as anti-histamines; very useful to reduce inflammation and reduce allergic responses. Other herbs keep the tissue clean and help the bronchial tubes to stay open and clear. The formula is also designed to re-build weak or damaged tissue and to repair ulcerated tissue. Chronic and acute cough conditions are also soothed and healed with this formula.
The majority of our formulas are designed with herbal fluid extracts which are 3 – 5 times stronger than the usual tinctures. What this means for you is that your dosages will be in drops instead of teaspoons (quite appreciated especially if the formula does not taste very good!). Your bottle will last 3-5 times longer but it is not 3-5 times the price of weaker tincture formulas.
