On Tuesday, August 17th we are asked together to give our appreciation for the Gift of Creativity and Creative Expression. Divine Creative Expression is one of Four Main Directives in our lives.
Are we appreciating the areas we are called to express creativity? Have the paints and canvasses been too long in the cupboard? Has the clay been dried out for too long? Do the piano or guitar sitting in the corner need tuning? How long has that knitting or sewing basket remained unopened? When was the last time you sat down to write something… just for fun? Or practiced singing or even writing a song, or a joke? Or choreographing a new TikTok dance that everyone will see or, no one will see.
Have you tried coming up with a new recipe if you enjoy the culinary arts? Maybe it’s time to redecorate, build something, or reorganize inventing new ways to do it all.
Each of us is uniquely creative, and it is a Gift that makes our lives better. Let us together show our appreciation for the Gift of Creativity by doing something, anything creative today.
