Fathers, Dads, Papa Asun.
Yesterday we celebrated Father’s Day and we are continuing the celebrations by showing our gratitude to Dads everywhere. Fathers play such an important, vital role in their children’s lives, and often go unacknowledged for the myriad things they do big and small on a daily basis for their families. Recently I was watching a livestream of a bluebird nest; it was fascinating to see Papa Bluebird fly in with food for his new family, countless times each day over the course of many weeks.
We celebrate the Dads who build swing sets in the backyard, barbecue Saturday night’s dinner and carry their tired kids high on their shoulders on the way home from the park. Sometimes we roll our eyes at their “Dad jokes.” We know not to touch the thermostat after dad set it, and tease his sandals with socks fashion sense with love. Here’s to all the Dads, those that are here, those who are now in a better place, and cheers to our Beloved Papa Asun. He is always encouraging us to move into the Greater, be better people, and enjoy life while we’re here. He can spin a tale, has his own way with a ‘Dad joke’, and a unique ability to admire his gorgeousness and be humble at the same time, for he is simply ‘stating a truth!”. So belated Happy Father’s Day Beloved Papa Asun! We love you, bless you and thank you for being our Teacher, our Runner, and our happy guide through life in the 3rd Dimension!
